Property Issues (Marital vs Non-Marital)
It is important to determine what property is marital and what is separate. This must be done in order to accurately asses the amount of spousal support and child support is needed. Marital property is handled differently in different states. It is crucial to confer with a CFDP®, such as myself, who able to properly assess property, along with the legal and tax issues involved with division of property in a divorce settlement.
